Entrepreneurship Pathways: New Industry Partners Join the Pipeline

Bridging the Classroom and the Job Site

One of the most powerful things we can do for a young person is show them what a career actually looks like — not in a textbook, but in the real world. That's why we're excited to announce that three Pinellas County businesses have joined Y.C.A.M.P. as official Entrepreneurship Pathways program partners.

These partnerships bring licensed tradespeople directly into our program as mentors, and open the door to job-site visits, tool sponsorships, and — for older students — potential apprenticeship pathways.

What This Means for Students

Our Entrepreneurship Pathways program already covers foundational skills in construction, electrical basics, plumbing, HVAC, and automotive. With industry partners embedded in the curriculum, students will now:

  • Work alongside licensed professionals on supervised projects
  • Earn industry-recognized certifications before graduating high school
  • Build a professional network before they ever submit a resume

For students who aren't headed to a four-year university — or who simply want a direct path to a well-paying career — this pipeline is transformational.

A Note on Inclusion

Our Entrepreneurship Pathways program is fully accessible to students with special needs. Our inclusion team works with each family to ensure accommodations are in place so every student can participate fully.
